Next Tuesday, we’re partnering with Community Markets Inc. to provide 150 families with healthy, West Virginia-grown food through our Day of Caring Food Box Giveaway.

📢 Civic Center Closure Notice

The Ranson Civic Center will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Normal operating hours will resume Tuesday, September 8.

🏀 New nets are up and ready for action!

A big thank you to Dave Piepenbrink State Farm- Ranson for generously providing and installing new basketball nets at both the Ranson Civic Center and Lance Slusher Park!

We appreciate Dave's continued support of our community and his willingness to help make our Parks & Recreation facilities even better for everyone to enjoy.

Now, there's only one thing left to do... come put those new nets to use! Grab a basketball, bring some friends, and head over to the courts for a game, a little practice, or to see if you've still got it, too! 😄🏀

We're exploring the possibility of starting a new yoga program at Marcus Field, hosted by Jaelyn - Skoolie Life & Yoga, and we need your input to help shape it!

Whether you're a seasoned yogi, a complete beginner, or just curious about giving yoga a try, we'd love to hear from you. Take a few moments to complete our interest form and help us create a program that works for our community!

🎃 We know… it’s still summer, but we’re already dreaming of cooler temperatures, crisp fall nights, and spooky season! 👻

That means it’s time to start getting ready for the Monster Bash Trunk-or-Treat!

Join Ranson Parks & Recreation on Friday, October 23 from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Ranson Civic Center for an evening of trunk-or-treating, games, crafts, and more!

🍬 Want to help make the night extra sweet? We’re looking for volunteers to distribute candy, either from their decorated vehicles or from inside the Civic Center.

Whether you’re ready to break out the spooky decorations or just want to lend a helping hand, we’d love to have you join us!

A new school year is here! 📚🎒

Last week, we were proud to welcome Jefferson County Schools, WV to the Ranson Civic Center for their annual convocation as they prepared to kick off another school year. We captured a few photos from the event and wanted to share a look back!

The Ranson Civic Center is more than a recreation facility, it’s also a great space for meetings, gatherings, conferences, and community events. If you’re looking for a venue for your next event, consider the Civic Center!

📢 Temporary Closure Notice

The Ranson Civic Center will be temporarily closed today beginning at 2:30 PM due to staff availability.

The Civic Center is expected to reopen later today. We appreciate your patience and understanding while staff attend to other City business.

Looking to sell? Vendor spaces will be available for just $25 per 12x12 space, with a special rate of $20 for Ranson residents.
