Sometimes, what keeps you in the game has very little to do with the game itself. ⚽️❤️

At the college level, the pressure can be a lot.

Performance starts to feel personal, expectations get heavier, and something you’ve loved your whole life can slowly become tied to how you see yourself.

For Caitlyn Britt, what kept pulling her back was the people.

The teammates who became sisters. The culture that felt like family. The relationships that reminded her there was so much more to soccer—and to herself—than what happened on the field.

On the latest episode of The Common Thread, Caitlyn shares what it looked like to navigate that pressure, find her identity beyond being an athlete, and is now writing the narrative of soccer culture as it moves forward especially in the women’s game with Drip FC Women

An SG legend since 6th grade. From player, to coach, and life changer. Once an inspired player, and now inspiring the next generation of ballers.

The best minis coach, Bootcamp counselor, cameraman, and maradona king. This isn’t a goodbye (although it kindve is) it’s a massive THANK YOU to Coach Derick for everything you given to the SG community as a player, as a coach, and as a person.

Us getting to see you grow over the years has been the biggest blessing. To see you keep showing up through the years, and turning your experience into inspiration.
