Kevin, the founder of Blue Cord K9, and Certified Trainer, was medically discharged from the Army and trained his dog for his PTSD and TBI. Since then, he has made it his path and passion to train dogs and give back to the community. Our Trainers specialize in Behavior Modification but also train Service dogs, Tracking/Trailing and Basic/Advanced Obedience. Blue Cord K9 offers In-Home courses as well as training at the facility. Today was an extra special graduation!

Cloud graduated from our socialization program today at Dirt Bag Ales! What made the graduation special was the presence of our owner, Larinda!

Cloud was set to graduate the weekend after Larinda's accident. Instead of taking the offer of working with another trainer to complete Cloud's training, his owners asked to wait until Larinda was well enough to finish his training. Knowing it could be months before she was better enough to be present.

Today Cloud and Larinda were able to walk and roll through Dirt Bag Ales.

Congratulations to Max, our newest Behavioral Modification graduate!

Max was rescued from an abusive situation by a loving and dedicated handler. Max, finally feeling safe, began to resource guard his new handler; this escalated from barking and lunging at new people to eventually biting.

Wanting to give Max the best shot at a happy and safe life, she reached out to us to help address his behavior.

Trainer Anthony worked slowly, patiently, and without fear to help Max and handler reach their goals. Max can now safely and confidently walk in public, have company over, and the Handler has the confidence and tools to continue helping Max live his best life!
