QTC Opening Cookout 2026!

QTC held its annual Opening Cookout with a warm and sunny day. There was lots of good porch socializing, making connections for tennis matches and yummy BBQ, food and refreshments.

Thank you to the Board and Social Committee for arranging the cookout. Plus, those who contributed food to the days feast, including Bob Forbes who attended to the grill! Great afternoon had by all 😎🎾

2025 LOBSTER TOURNAMENT FINALS

The 2025 Lobster Tournament Finals were held yesterday, Sunday, June 29th under a sunny blue sky and temps in the 80s! The finalists battled it out in the heat with long rallies and great points, with many spectators on the porch enjoying the cookout food and drinks.

Congratulations to the finalists and the eventual winners who were:

Women’s draw: Wenchen An def Alena Horton 6-4, 6-4

Men’s draw: Jerry Kehoe def Tom Grifa 4-6, 6-2, 6-4

Many thanks extended to the players that participated, the Tournament Committee, the Social Committee including Rebecca and Glenn McGillivray who handled the BBQ cookout food and Lobster cake.

A great afternoon was had by all. We hope the winners enjoy their lobsters! 🦞 🦞

QTC opening cookout and pig roast . Great camaraderie and delicious food! Thanks to all who Attended and special thanks to those who brought those fabulous salads and deserts ( and sangria!). Kudos to social committee chairman… and grill master… Tony Donadio (and to Mauricio who roasted the pig to perfection)
