Welcome Instructor McKenna!

McKenna has a strong background in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. She is currently a junior at the University of Massachusetts Boston, pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a minor in Dance.

McKenna's dance journey includes years as a competitive dancer, earning recognition for her performances, including "Best in Choreography" and multiple Judges’ Choice Awards. She continues to train at Boston Dance Studios, where she is committed to growing as both a dancer and choreographer.

Alongside performing, McKenna has gained extensive experience working with dancers of all ages. She has choreographed groups and solos for competition teams, taught summer intensives, assisted with auditions, organized dance camps, and helped prepare teams for competitions. She has also served as a backstage director for recitals, helping ensure performances run smoothly from behind the scenes.

McKenna is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, develop their technique, and discover their own unique artistry. Her goal is to pursue a career in dance and eventually open her own dance studio, where she hopes to create an encouraging and inspiring environment for dancers to learn and grow.

We are excited to have McKenna as part of our teaching team and look forward to seeing the enthusiasm, creativity, and experience she brings to our dancers!
