It was hot. It was exciting. It was an experience to be there and see. The Cougars showed heart and grit and they battled back to secure a State Runners-Up spot at Liberty University Friday and Saturday. Just one more example of how incredible our students are.

The Cougars are still working hard at Liberty University. Cole Boone earns another State Championship with Tanner Linkous earning second in the 800-meter race. Alex Flores shocked the stadium as well, taking eighth place overall while running in the first heat! Anius Slaughter took sixth in the discus throw. Braxton Merchant took 7th in the long jump. With just a few events remaining, Pulaski County is in second place out of 36 teams!
