We are roughly 3 weeks away from the Official Rat Rod Tour's, Route 66 Invasion.
MANY have asked where they can find the caravan at. Due to a variety of factors, we cannot give a time of the day for each location. Only where we will be on given days.

*A few tips*
We have in the area of 130 Long Haulers for this approx. 1800-mile journey. A LOT more will pick up along the route.

You can join the Tour anywhere along the route.
There are no registrations, costs or fees to join the Rat Rod Tour.

All trailers, chase vehicles, campers or anything NOT rat rod, please stay to the rear of the caravan for our own filming, photos and documenting purposes.

This is NOT a race. Caravan "lead car" max speed will be 65mph. We travel as a group.

You WILL leave this Tour with way more friends than you had prior.

ABOVE ALL... please remember that the towns, hotels, fuel stops, food stops and parties along the route are going above and beyond to welcome us all with open arms. Let's show them all our sincere appreciation while we are there.

Lee Shepherd's 1984 championship car just sold at Mecum. I haven't seen the official sale price as of yet, what I've been told was $50,000 which I can't believe. It had been previously restored to "as-raced specs".
498 cubic inch big block Chevy
Sheetmetal intake with 2 four barrel carbs, I didn't see a size but they appear to be 1050's or larger.

Just an amazing car, so here is a picture from the 2024 PRI show where I was asked if I'd like to sit in a "tribute" to Lee's car. I don't know if it was the blonde mullet that gave it away but of course I'd love to.
