Team I’mPossible crossing the finish line at the Hood To Coast Relay! We never imagined we could complete a 196-mile relay, but together, we proved that we could. Our team consisted of five high school students and four parent-child duos, united by a shared goal and determination. We covered every mile through day and night, in rain and sunshine, supporting one another every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful to have finished this journey without injuries or incidents. More than a race, this was a celebration of our ability to move, persevere, and achieve something extraordinary together. It was also a celebration of two generations coming together as one team, creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

What an incredible support from the community! As Arya completed Leg 17 of the Hood To Coast Relay , all the runners waiting at the exchange gathered to give her a standing ovation. The overwhelming encouragement filled her with pure joy.Moments like these are exactly why we keep coming back, despite the challenges we face. Just a few weeks ago, Arya was involved in a bike accident and is still carrying the scars. Yet experiences like this make all those difficulties fade into the background.More than anything, these moments remind her that she truly belongs. They make her feel like a valued part of this community, where she is celebrated for exactly who she is. And there is nothing more powerful than that.

Team I’mPossible has completed the Hood To Coast Relay . Great adventures and a lot of memories to tell for months and being talked about for years. All runners including our young stars exceeded expectations and pushed individual limits so high. Now we enjoy and rest then we will tell all about our stories in the near future.

Introducing The Team I’mPossible for the Hood To Coast Relay. A 196 miles relay race. The team starts with the I’mPossible Girl, Arya.

Our team starts with the I’mPossible Girl, Arya, who will be running alongside her dad as a duo. Together, they are excited to take on the mother of all relays!

Van 1 Team:�This group includes three parent-child duos. Arya and her dad are running as a team, while the other two father-son duos are each tackling the relay independently. Fun fact: all three of the young runners attend the same high school!

Van 2 Team:�This van features another father-son duo running independently. We also have another high school runner taking on a solo leg, and he will have the honor of being our team’s finisher.

Meet the Full Team I’mPossible:�Our team is made up of five high schoolers and four parent-child duos. We are especially excited to have Nafees, who traveled all the way from Belgium to participate in the Hood To Coast Relay. This truly is a special group of runners, united by challenge, friendship, and determination.

The Entire Crew:�This photo includes the team along with two of our three incredible volunteers. Unfortunately, one volunteer couldn’t make the picture due to a scheduling conflict. We are incredibly grateful for their support, because events like this are only possible with dedicated volunteers behind the scenes.

Tomorrow, the adventure begins! We are excited, a little nervous, and ready to take on the challenge. Most importantly, we hope to cross the finish line together and bring all five of our kids home safely after an unforgettable experience.

Today, Arya rolled into her first day of the new school year with the biggest smile — the kind that makes you forget every hard moment that came before it. She’s been counting down the days to go back, because school is where she feels connected, included, and alive.

Summer is never easy for her. With both of us working full‑time onsite, she spends most days at home with her caregiver. No typical play dates. Very few accessible summer camps (with long waitlist). And her days depend so much on the integrity and energy of whoever is caring for her. We tried — we really tried — taking her to races, keeping her moving, giving her moments of joy. But the truth is, she still spent most of her summer days alone.

So we decided to end summer differently. We organized a run with the I’mPossible girl — a day filled with movement, laughter. For Arya, it wasn’t just an event and helping people. It was the play date she never gets. It was belonging. It was joy. It was everything she deserved.

And today, she carried that joy straight into her classroom.

Run with the I’mPossible Girl 💙✨

Today was nothing short of magical. We hosted Run with the I’mPossible Girl, and nearly 50 participants showed up — from tiny 1‑year‑olds to seniors who brought wisdom, warmth, and big smiles. It was a morning filled with laughter, movement, joy, and pure inclusion. The kids ran freely, parents cheered loudly, and some ran alongside their kids, creating some beautiful memories and the community felt beautifully connected.

And in those joyful miles, we did something meaningful together — we supported the children of Swapnanagar Bidyaniketon in Bangladesh. A vision can start with one person, but it takes a community to turn that vision into reality. Today, you all proved what belief, kindness, and unity can accomplish.

A heartfelt thanks to every participant and to the incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this event possible. Your support didn’t just create a beautiful morning — it created hope.

Arya led the way, and all of you helped make a difference. 💙✨

“For half of Arya’s life, we were hesitant to talk openly about her medical condition. When she was very young, her challenges weren’t as visible. But as she grew, we began facing the same difficult questions over and over — “She can’t talk yet?” “She can’t walk yet?” Those moments were hard, and for a long time, they pushed us into our shell.

But watching Arya grow has changed everything. Her journey has taught us more than we ever expected. She inspires us every single day, and we want the world to know her exactly as she is — strong, beautiful, determined, and full of possibility. We’re done hiding her story. We want to share it so others can see that limitations don’t define you; courage does. Her story has already touched people around the world, including a feature on Jamuna TV in Bangladesh. (For our non-Bengali friends, I am posting the transcript of the video in the comments.)

Last year, through the first edition of Run with the I’mPossible Girl and Make a Difference! , Arya helped support the children of Swapnanagar Bidyaniketon in Bangladesh. This year, she’s back for the second event — raising funds to help build a classroom for these incredible kids.

She’s making a difference, one mile at a time. And we’re honored to run beside her. 💙✨”

Hood To Coast Relay packet pick up day. First year of the Team I’mPossible participating in the mother of all relays. Arya ran with blank bib with hand written team name before and seeing the team name printed on her bib means a lot . Thanks to the organizers for the extra printed bibs and shirts as our team always have an extra member. We also like to hang out and gave out packets. Love the energy and feel like start running now. Good luck all the teams participating this year and wish the weather will be on our side.

We also got the car magnets so get ready to be tagged on the race day.
