Are you curious about ski racing and what Sunset High School Ski Team is all about? Join us for our 2022-23 Sunset Ski Team Info/Join Night at Bethany Public House! Racers from Sunset, Westview, Century and Glencoe high schools train and race with us so spread the word!

Date: Wednesday, November 2, 2022
Time: 6:30 PM–9:00 PM

All are welcome- parents, racers, potential racers, siblings who will eventually race... :)

You do not have to commit to joining the team that night but if you ARE ready to join us, bring your checkbook to pay your deposit.

Our sign up night at Bethany Public House was so much fun! Thank you to the crew at the restaurant for taking such good care of us and thank you to the parents and skiers who came out to get more info about high school ski racing!

Club Fair at Sunset HS today was a success! The kids (and their parents) did a great job getting the table set up and spreading the word about joining the club.

Hello racers and families! It's time to get back into the swing of ski racing season. Please join us at our Kickoff Meeting on October 7th at 5:45pm in the Oakridge Estates amphitheater next to the tennis courts. Oakridge Estates is east of Bethany on the corner of Laidlaw Rd and Skycrest Pkwy (across Laidlaw from Stoller Middle School). This informational meeting will review timeline/dates, fees, what to expect and general information about high school ski racing (our team includes racers from Sunset, Westview, Glencoe and Century).

We look forward to seeing our returning racers and new racers along with their parents at this meeting!

Please reach out to your ski buddies and get them to join the team. Beginners are also welcome and encouraged!

Metro Ski League hosted an awards night at Jesuit High School Portland on Tuesday and it was really cool to hear the racers talk about the season and revel in their accomplishments.

Can you guess what the one thing just about every racer said when asked what they love most about ski team? They said "the people". Yes, they loved the competition and the training and the camaraderie among their fellow teammates but the overwhelming answer was how much they love getting to know racers from other teams. This is a very special community and we're proud to be a part of it.
