Poland Sno Travelers Snowmobile Club The Snowmobile Club for Poland, Maine. We maintain 40 miles of groomed trails in town. All work is done by volunteers. The snowmobile club is member supported.

We welcome anyone who wishes to join. If you live or ride in Poland, we need your support to keep the trail system open. Our club is responsible for locating, developing, signing, and maintaining the trails as well as grooming in the winter. The club owns several groomers to keep the trails in pristine shape all winter long. We also do club rides both in town as well as trailer rides in various pa

rts of the state. Meetings are the first Monday of the month October to April at Fairlawn Golf Course, 388 Empire Road, Poland.at 7:00 PM

Final club meeting of the season is coming up soon. Monday April 6th. We will be voting on the officers for next season. We have a motion for the same slate of officers as last year. We also will be updating a list of trail projects for next season. If you know of any problems on the trails, please let us know. All are welcome at the meeting. Hope to see you there.

Well we all knew it was coming so here it goes. Due to the weather forecast and the ever intensifying sun, the snow is melting at a rapid rate. Road crossings are becoming wider and wider from leaving snow and getting back to it. Woods trails are getting very thin in the turns and puddles are starting to develop. Unless we get a lot more snow and colder temperatures we have stopped all grooming on our trails. I would like to thank all the people that have put the time in to make your trails the best they could be. The trails, at this time, are still open and we will access them on a daily basis.
