UPDATE: Artie is out of surgery and everything went well. He will be home this afternoon to relax and heal. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and messages.

Please keep Artie in your thoughts and prayers today.

He is getting older and has had some recent health issues. We are on top of it and making sure he gets the best care possible, sparing no expense! He has lost his vision in one and eye and it is infected so he is having surgery today to remove that bad eye. It is just day surgery. He will be home at Shaker Hill this afternoon and will require lots of rest.

Artie has been with us for 14 years and he has a huge fan base. Honestly, most people ask where Artie is when they come in. Not where’s Russ, where’s Tim…where’s Artie?!

He is Russ’s buddy and we are going to do whatever we have to in order to ensure he has many more years of greeting customers and hanging out at Shaker Hill!
