On September 11, 2001, four commercial airplanes were hijacked in a terror attack against the United States and crashed at three locations:

• Two planes struck the World Trade Center towers in New York City.
• One plane struck the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
• One plane crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers and crew fought back as it headed toward Washington, D.C.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost and honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the heroes, first responders, rescue workers, and the search-and-rescue dogs and handlers who worked
tirelessly in the aftermath.

We Remember, We Honor, We will never forget 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸

Tonight’s class began with a few words of remembrance from student Paul Merten, a retired NYPD officer who witnessed the terror attacks at the World Trade Center towers in NYC.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost that day.
We also honor the heroes and first responders, and remain forever grateful for their extraordinary courage and sacrifice. For so many of them, the emotional toll and long-term health effects from ground zero continue to this day.

We will never forget 🙏🏻🇺🇸❤️ #911

Congratulations to Chris Jordan on earning his well-deserved Brown Belt BJJ SHORE ACADEMY 👏🏻🤎

Professor Bill surprised Chris with his promotion during tonight’s class! He’s been a great student, a dedicated training partner, and an incredibly tough opponent on the mat-anyone who has rolled with him knows just how skilled he is!

Chris is Professor Tom Manelski’s cousin and was a Blue Belt when he first came to train with us at the academy. It’s been great to watch him grow into such a talented Jiu-Jitsu practitioner!

Tomorrow, Chris will be leaving to head out on a new exciting work adventure in Wyoming. He will also keep up with some jiujitsu training while out there!
We wish him all the very best as he will be missed on the mats, but we look forward to seeing him whenever he gets to come back to Jersey to visit.

Congrats again Chris Jordan , keep training hard and keep getting after it !! 👊🏻
