It’s finally fall, y’all! We’re kicking off Fall Softball with one of our family’s favorite fall comfort foods: BAKED POTATOES!

And because everyone in our house likes their potato a little different, we’re giving you options too!

One little fall season reminder: Most nights, I’ll be running the stand by myself. Between our own kids being in sports and our employees being back in school, my options for extra hands are pretty limited. So if things get busy, please be patient with me! I promise I’ll be moving as fast as I can and doing my best to rock the stand solo. 🤘🏻🫡

And by now you guys have probably learned that if there’s something you want at the concession stand, there’s a pretty good chance I’ll figure out how to make it happen.

Just a reminder that Modi’s will be in TWO places tomorrow 8/22!

First up, we’ll be at our home base! Modis Home plate (the NOP Park concession stand ) for the Legends of the league Fundraiser Tournament! We’ll be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus all the normal goodies… snacks, b**r, ice cream, drinks, all of it! We are donating some meal tickets for the raffle!

And Yes, for everyone asking we will Definitely have my breakfast burritos 🤘🏻🤤

Kodi will be holding down the concession stand while I sneak away with another part of Modi’s to support Tosses for Wyatt!

We’ll be at the Wellness Complex from 3–9 PM with cotton candy and shave ice, and we’ll be donating a portion of our proceeds back to the fundraiser. So come get yourself a treat and help us raise some money while we’re at it!

Then Sunday we’ll be right back at NOP Park with the concession stand open for the rest of the tournament.

It’s going to be a busy weekend running in two different directions, but these are exactly the kind of events we LOVE being able to show up for.

Two awesome fundraisers, two great causes, and probably a whole lot of caffeine for the Modi’s crew. 😂

We got our hands on a SOFT SERVE MACHINE for a two week trial run, and basically… y’all get to decide its fate. 😂

We have TWO WEEKS to figure out if this bad boy earns a permanent spot at the ballpark, or if we send it packing. 👋🍦

I talked with the Shoban Tribe today and found out that, historically, the NOP Park concession hasn’t been open during the Shoban Tribe Tournament. Well… that’s not how we do things around here.

We’ll be open and serving food all tournament long!

A huge thank you to the Pocatello Police Department for inviting Modi’s to be part of National Night Out! We had an absolute blast spinning cotton candy and meeting so many incredible families.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say we had the busiest booths of the night. Free fresh spun cotton candy has a way of bringing people over, and because of that, PPD was able to connect with and share important information with hundreds of families who may have otherwise just walked by.

One of the biggest conversations of the evening was about the KNOW ME File. It’s a simple form that gives first responders important information about a person with autism, dementia, developmental disabilities, or other communication challenges during an emergency. Things like communication preferences, sensory triggers, medical information, calming techniques, and emergency contacts help officers, firefighters, EMS, and dispatchers provide the best possible response.

The KNOW ME File is especially meaningful to me because I created it while I was working as a 911 dispatcher. Seeing family after family stop, ask questions, and learn how to sign up honestly meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you to the Pocatello Police Department for continuing to invest in programs like this and for allowing me to be a small part of sharing them with our community.

It also reminded me why I started offering cotton candy as a service.
