WERA Grand National Finals. Barber Motorsports Park. October 22-25, 2026 RC Race Report
This past weekend we were at Barber Motorsports Park for our last weekend of the 2026 season. This was my last weekend on the NSF 100 that I have been riding this season. It was also the one year anniversary of Themiscyra Racing. Thank you so much, Carolyn, for what you have done for me this year. Max as well, for being my mechanic/coach. Y’all have truly changed the course in which my racing career is going. I can’t wait to see what other girls get to do and be because of our team. Thanks so much.
Saturday:
Unfortunately, it did not start out as planned. I went out in my first practice on my Aprilia 250. I made a few laps behind Angela and was turning some pretty decent pace until I came into Charlotte too hot and ended up putting it down. I was ok, but the bike was sadly out for the rest of the weekend. I’m really sorry to Max for all the work that now has to be done. It was completely my mistake.
Practice/qualifying on the NSF:
After crashing the Aprilia, my confidence was dinged a bit. Getting back on the NSF helped a lot with that. I LOVE that bike. The session went well, really working on hitting my marks EVERY lap, no matter the circumstances. We qualified 9th over all in a field of 41.
Race 1:
I had the best start that I have had all season. Unfortunately, Jessica got an even better one than I did. I just had nothing for her. I had a pretty good battle with a Grom, nothing crazy, but a good race. 2nd in class and 9th over all finish.
Sunday:
Practice/qualifying.
I had an okay session. Not the best one and I felt off. I was 4 or 5 seconds off pace. I am not completely sure why. Whatever it was, I had no trouble within the race.
Race 2:
I had a bad start. I was third or fourth in class going into turn one. I got to second position and worked to try to stay ahead of Sandy who I knew was coming up behind me. Then I screwed up on the last lap and Sandy got around me so I finished third in class and 8th over all.
All in all it was a great weekend! I can’t thank my team Themiscyra Racing enough for EVERYTHING they do for me! Y’all are the best. All of my sponsors; we truly can’t do any of this without you guys. Y’all are wonderful.
