The boys raced Lake Geneva yesterday; such an awesome event! I'll post full results soon, but here's a short video of Jack making a nice pass for the lead! As you can see, he and Logan were pretty far in front of the rest of the field. Unfortunately, his chain broke shortly after this and took him out of the race. Crazy enough, Logan lost bogey wheels in the same spot, ending her race. Disappointing for them but congrats to the kids that made the podium!

The boys brought momma home some hardware for Valentines Day! They braved the bitter cold and raced the State Championship in Weyauwega last night.

Jack had a nasty off on the Transition sled and it really shook him up; thankful he's ok. He came back to take a 1st Place in Briggs 206 8-12 and a 1st in Stock 8-12.

Owen raced his little heart out (he wanted to go to sleep but dug deep for the energy to compete). He won on the stock sled but had a failed rev limiter in tech (I cannot properly express our frustration with the unreliable rev limiters!). So, his finish is still tbd, but he definitely made us proud :)

MW surprised me by bringing home a win in the 40+ class! He ran Jack's restricted Transition sled and took the win. I had no idea he was planning to ride. Once a racer always a racer I guess!

Next week on to Westby.

Boys just finished up Day 2!

Jack had a bit of a rough day but pulled out a 2nd in Briggs 206.

Oboy is a WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! Grabbed the holeshot in his final and held the pack off for the entire race. I think he was a bit surprised...he looked behind him a couple times :)

So proud! They are packing up the muddy mess and bringing home some hardware.

THE FELLAS ARE RACING THE GREAT NORTHERN SNOCROSS SERIES IN PLYMOUTH THIS WEEKEND.

Results from Day 1:

Jack Briggs 206:
Heat 1 - WIN!
Heat 2 - 4th
Final - WINNER!!!

Jack Transition:
Heat 1 - had issues with a faulty tether so not sure on finish
Heat 2 - 3rd
Final - 2nd!!!

Owen Stock 6-7:
Heat 1 - 3rd
Heat 2 - WIN!
Final - 3rd

So proud of these boys! Jack is really improving on his transition sled. He's a little dude at 63 lbs throwing around a 500lb snowmobile! Tired man at the end of the day, but very determined. Oboy has "catlike speed and reflexes" and often gets the holeshot but has a hard time holding onto it after the first lap. We'll be working on that as he LOVES to get the WIN :)

Hoping for a FAST day today; I'll be sure to post results.

Eagle River Derby Day 1:

Owen ran mid-pack in the 6-7 stock heats. He had fun and said he got "big air" :)

Jack ran several classes, two heats each...
6-12 stock: 1st and 2nd
Briggs 206: 2nd and 1st
Jack also stepped up to the big sleds and raced Transition 8-10 and Transition 8-12. Had an off in his first heat but otherwise did well and got some valuable saddle time.

On to the finals tomorrow!
