October 21, 2013; a day the members of Central Cycle Club will never forget.

224 tattooed on our bodies, embedded in our decals, and forever a memory our souls preserved as if it were yesterday. Where our feet are now, we reflect on what’s happened since.

Yesterday we paid tribute. A memorial event in his honor that united the only two tracks in Connecticut. We cannot say thank you enough to all the riders and families who came out to celebrate and honor the life of Rob.

For more than a decade we’ve raised thousands to help our club families in times of need through the Rob Howard Fund, college scholarships helping our youth build their futures, and most importantly, if only for one night, we come together to toast and honor each other for all that we are grateful for.

Someday we’ll look back and realize these ordinary nights, were anything but ordinary.

Thank you Milford Riders Club. Thank you members of Central Cycle Club. Thank you Rob Howard, 224.

Join us for a weekend of Motocross at CCC!

Saturday August 8th - Open Ride Day & Beta Ride Day

Join us for a rare chance to ride the track as non-members before the NESC race on Sunday. Beta Motorcycles will also be on-site for anyone wanting to try out one of their bikes!

- Gate opens at 7am and sign-up starts at 8am
- Ride from 9am - 3pm : $40 pp to ride, no charge to get in the gate
- Must bring your own helmet, boots & proper apparel to ride
- 4 Classes available: Women/Kids (small bikes), Beginner/Novice, Expert/Amateur, Vet (40+)
- FREE overnight parking for those who are racing on Sunday

- Catch the local fireworks show at 9pm only 1 MILE from the track!

Sunday August 9th - NESC Motocross Race Day

- Gate opens at 6am
- Race sign-up starts at 7am upstairs in the clubhouse
- The 224 Grill will be open all day Sunday for food starting at 7am (accepts cash & Venmo)
- First gate drops at 10am

Spectators:
- $20 per person at the gate CASH ONLY
- Kids 12 years and under are FREE

We had an absolutely amazing day with a double whammy of the second Connecticut Classic race AND the last race of the NESC Spring Series here at Central! We wanted to take a moment to thank our incredible members - without them we wouldn't be able to hold these great events. They spend countless hours of their free time planning, cleaning, maintaining and working in order to keep the facility running and events going smooth. They are quite literally the backbone of our club and deserve all the credit we can give them. Let's hear it for the awesome members of Central Cycle Club who show up and show pride in our little slice of heaven!

While we're at it, we wanted to send a special thank you to Deputy Chief Bernie Tavernier of the Central Village Fire Department (pictured here with club president Doug Gagnon). Bernie has spent the last 36 years showing up to every single one of our events, volunteering his time and showing a true dedication to our club. We cannot thank you enough for over three decades of service, and hope you enjoy a well deserved retirement!

See you all at the next NESC race in August!

Parents of Minors:
A legal guardian must accompany any rider under the age of 18. Required paperwork can be completed and signed on site. If a legal guardian is not available to be at race day with the minor(s), please reach out ahead of time for a special form that MUST be completed.

** Water fill up is available at the fire pit and also the pits down below by the Portajon
