My camera roll is FULL of pictures like this and that makes my heart happy. This years KAR convention felt different. We had 18 dancers of different levels and different skill sets. We had several number call outs meaning they got to go out and perform with other talented dancers who showed confidence and talent in that specific genre and coming from a strictly recreational dance studio, that felt pretty special. I love conventions for many reasons but seeing passion blossom in dance from the kids I pour my heart out to each week will always be an unforgettable experience for me. It's a jam packed, nonstop, early morning, late finish kind of day and I'm so proud of how we showed up and supported each other when it's easy to look around the room and compare yourself. Until next year! 🧑🏼‍🩰⭐️
