A baptism!! (kinda) A Batizado!! (for sure) 🇧🇷 Think of it as a belt graduation. In Capoeira terms (aka Portuguese), it means new cords, new ranks, new skills.

Congrats to all the graduates of our Batizado this weekend!! Viva a capoeira! 🥳🎉

❤️‍🔥What do you call your teacher?❤️‍🔥 Here are some fun options:
🥋Sensei
🥋Mom & Dad
🥋Coach
🥋Mr. or Mrs. or Miss or Ms.
🥋When you’re tired: “can I get a break?”

Whatever you call them, a great teacher does much more than teach technique. They help us build confidence, perseverance, and character both inside and out of the dojo.

Teacher: one word, so many things 🥰 Thank you to all of our teachers in our lives!! Happy World Teacher’s Day 🧠🤓
