A beautiful message from one of our beautiful employees Kim McKee Anderson …
I've worked here for 21 years, but my connection goes back even further. I was a member when the gym was in the old Collegetown Shopping Center. My children spent part of their childhood in Kids Korner while I worked out and later while I worked here. And I've been lucky to work with both of my sons here as well.
Over the years, this place became much more than a gym. I've made friendships that have lasted decades. I've watched members meet, marry and raise families. Some of those same kids who spent time in Kids Korner are now adults working out with their parents.
I've seen employees come and go through the years. Front desk staff, instructors, trainers, housekeeping, childcare workers, managers. Every one of them helped make Four Seasons what it is. Together, we built something special that can't really be measured by square footage or equipment.
We've celebrated milestones together. We've supported one another through difficult times. We've mourned the loss of members who became friends and felt like family. We've watched generations grow up before our eyes.
There are a lot of gyms out there, but Four Seasons has always been its own thing. The people are what made it different. (And yeah, the facility was top-notch as well. )
If you've ever been a member, worked here, taken a class, made friends, or simply felt welcomed when you walked through the doors, then you know what I mean.
I'm sharing this because this place has meant so much to so many people, including me. If you're able, please consider supporting the GoFundMe and helping preserve something that has been a part of our community for generations.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Four Seasons family over the years.
