Day 3. We had Jacob and Bryn competing for their first time at blue belt. Both showed well, Bryn went 1-1 and Jacob lost his first match in a barn burner!! Great reps!! Let’s get some more!! Overall, had a great experience at yet another Master Worlds!! We will be back!!

Day 2 Got stuck in closed guard , lost by 2 advantages. 1 was on penalties the other on an almost sweep. I left it on the mat so I feel good about my efforts!! I will get back after it on Monday!! On to day 3!!!

Day 1 Masters Worlds / Jiu Jitsu Con. A good day for comp reps!! Our friend Bryn did her very first competition today, and was able to get some solid work going 1-1! Great work!! The first one is always tough!! Our friend Gabby won her division and received her blue belt!! Proud of the work she has put in to get to this point!! On to new mountains to climb!! Looking forward to tomorrow!!!

Vegas here we come!!! Fellowship Jiu Jitsu will be bringing 6 competitors to Jiu Jitsu Con and World Masters this year! Huge thank you to everyone that helped get them ready!! World Masters week is here! Regular schedule Monday and Tuesday, then off to Vegas for the week! We have competitors up Thursday, Friday and Saturday!! I posted brackets on our group FB page if you want to root on your favorite team!! We will be back on Monday for a Big Kid and up Labor Day open mat!!

My brother from another mother Saint Johns Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu leveled up with another successful addition to the family!! Congratulations!! He also got a stripe on his belt! This was a No Gi class, but we put the PJs on for a round. If you are in Saint Johns, or live near by, check out Saint John’s BJJ, Cam is a high level technician, with a top notch training program!! Congratulations on everything!!
