We are the oldest ski shop on the Mountain that is still active, open every December to March (or longer if the season is great!). Beginning June 3, 2026, Sunrise Park Resort will be open:

🗓️ Wednesday through Sunday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Spend your days exploring the mountain with scenic lift rides, mountain biking, archery, disc golf, tubing, great food, and fresh mountain air. 🚵‍♂️🏹🌲

The Blue Ridge Scholarship Fund Board is proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of our partner supporters, donors, and community, we have awarded $80,000 in scholarships to 2026 graduating Blue Ridge students!

These awards recognize the hard work and bright futures of our students as they take their next steps.

Recipients will be notified at the 2026 Blue Ridge High School Award Night. We look forward to celebrating their achievements!

🌤 Mountain Update 🌤

Mother Nature hasn’t been cooperating lately, and with current conditions not where we’d like them to be, we’ll be adjusting our operating days and hours.

These changes help us preserve what coverage we have left and provide the best experience possible when we are open.

We know schedule changes can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. Our team is monitoring conditions daily and will keep everyone updated.

New Sunrise hours! 8AM -3:00PM!

Operations Update from Sunrise Park Resort

To help preserve the snow cover we have remaining, operating hours will move to 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, effective immediately. We will continue operating 7 days a week at this time.

Our next evaluation of conditions, operating hours, and days of operation will take place no later than March 15.

Ski School Hours Adjustments:

Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Mountain Coaster: Running
Tubing Hill: Closed

We appreciate your understanding as we work to extend the season and maintain the best possible conditions. Please continue to check our website for the most up-to-date terrain and operations information.
