Kids Fitness Fun! 🎉

This week's focus is all about building skills through play!

We're working on:
🏃‍♂️ Movement and agility
⚾ Catching and throwing
👀 Hand-eye coordination
⚡ Reaction time
👣 Footwork and body control

These skills do more than improve performance in sports—they help kids develop confidence, coordination, balance, and the ability to move their bodies efficiently in everyday life.

The best part? They don't even realize how much they're learning because they're having so much fun!

Strong bodies, quick minds, and lots of smiles—that's what Kids Fitness Fun is all about. 💪😊

Here is post from last month, before the Colorado Triathlon. Guess I had my Instagram to FB sharing off 😝I'm going to get you updated😁

Yesterday was a great day to do a brick workout ...ride then run...and to cap it off with a sports massage😆💥 Thank you Luke Cain at 02 Spa💯for working out all my kinks.

My current average speed is 20 mph and I have a goal of increasing that to 21 mph. Our hills are perfect for that👍🚵

This ride was 27 miles with an average of 20.6mph. Today's challenge was the 🌬️wind combined with my disc wheel. It was spicy🤣 learning how to relax into the cross winds.

The finish line was where I traded my bike for running shoes. This is where the legs can feel like bricks🫣WOW !!! my legs felt like cinderblocks😄

It was a good training session with a reward at the end.

Next triathlon is the Colorado Triathlon in Boulder, Colorado on June 6th.

These boys showed up ready to work💪took on every challeng🏆 and kept pushing themselves to get stronger, faster, and more confident every week 💪🔥

What I loved most wasn’t just the hard work😁…it was watching them encourage each other, try new things, and realize they’re capable of more than
they thought💯

Kids Bootcamp is about building strength, confidence, teamwork, and grit while having a blast doing it. Proud of these boys for showing up and giving it their all!

KIDS FITNESS FUN for the SUMMER

Sports Performance • Coordination • Confidence • Fun

This is an 11-week youth fitness program designed for kids ages 8+ to build athletic skills, confidence, coordination, and a love for movement through sport-specific training and games.

Each 1.5-hour session combines fun fitness, teamwork, agility, speed, balance, and sport skill development in an encouraging environment where kids can move, compete, and grow.

Sports & Skill Development Includes:
Baseball & Football → throwing, catching, hand-eye coordination, reaction drills, footwork

Soccer & Skiing → agility, quick feet, balance, change of direction, coordination

Track & Hockey & Basketball → speed, endurance, explosiveness, running mechanics

Wrestling & Swimming → body control, mobility, core strength, conditioning, total-body athleticism

Each 1.5 hour session is $25 please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Woman of Steel Triathlon 🏊‍♀️🚵‍♀️🏃‍♀️…done and will do again next year💥

Huge shoutout to TriUtah for putting on such a smooth event and to every volunteer who stood out there cheering, directing, encouraging, and keeping us safe all day long👏 You made a hard thing feel a little lighter

Ladies…there is something powerful about doing something that stretches you past your comfort zone💪

It doesn’t have to be a triathlon. Maybe for you it’s walking into a gym for the first time, signing up for a class, learning to lift weights, hiking that trail, setting boundaries, or finally believing your health is worth fighting for💥

Six years ago, I would’ve laughed if someone asked me to go for a run or swim🤣 Now these races have become part of what keeps me strong mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Training has taught me discipline, resilience, confidence, and how to care for my body instead of constantly battling it. It carried me through one of the hardest transitions of a woman’s life…perimenopause…and helped me come out stronger on the other side🫶

At 55, I don’t feel like I’m winding down. I feel like I’m stepping into a whole new season of challenge, growth, and adventure.

Your body is capable of more than you think. So are you🫶

Packed🎒 and ready for the 🏋️‍♀️Woman of Steel Triathlon 2026 in American Fork, Utah, this Saturday.

PJ 🚵‍♀️ is all charged up and clean, even my tennies got a bath😆 can't let any dirt on my shoes slow me down🤣

Had a great swim🏊‍♀️ this morning with Crystal practicing sharing lanes and swimming under the lane lines like we will in the competition.

Going down memory💭 lane...Jess and I had a great time at this event last year and both took the podium💯💪this is a new year and the ultimate goal like always, is to have fun 🎉 😄 together and test our own limits.

Walking into a gym for the first time can feel intimidating, but every strong woman started with one bold step🤜🤛
