PCHS Girls Golf Pinckney Community High School (PCHS) Girls Golf Team - JV and Varsity Golf

Welcome to Pinckney Community High School (PCHS) Girl's Golf Program! This is a great opportunity for young ladies in 9th-12th grade at PCHS to learn the game of golf . The season officially begins in August at Timber Trace Golf Club. The JV and Varsity Teams will practice every day after school, with matches TBD. Summer practice schedule: PCHS supports voluntary practice at Timber Trace Golf Clu

Our girls competed in the JV SEC tournament today at Huron Hills!

Highlights:
🏌️‍♀️ Hailey and Audrey both had Pars!
🏌️‍♀️ Hailey, Audrey, Kereh, and Lily all broke 60 on one of their 9’s!
🏌️‍♀️ this was the first time playing (and walking) 18 holes for some of our players.

Our Story

Welcome to the Pinckney Community High School (PCHS) Girl's Golf Program! This is a great opportunity for young ladies in 9th-12th grade at PCHS to learn the game of golf . The PCHS Girl’s Golf Team is the proud back-to-back winner of the Michigan Highschool SouthEastern Conference (SEC) in 2017 and 2018 seasons. Led by Head Coach Michael Rutkowski , the team is determined to lead it’s upcoming season to another championship victory.

The season officially begins in August. The JV and Varsity Teams will practice every day after school, with matches TBD. All players entering 9th grade through 12th grade are eligible to compete.

For 2019, the team will host two MANDATORY Workouts on July 24th and July 29th at 1:00 p.m. at Whispering Pines Golf Course (the home course for the team). All incoming, new, and current players must attend. Summer practice schedule: PCHS supports voluntary practice over the summer. For lessons, it is recommended to practice at Miles of Golf. Requirement: Please schedule a sports physical examination before your child starts school as it is a requirement to play athletics. If you have already played a sport last year, your physical is good for one year. PCHS is also a pay-to-play school. Please see our Pinckney Community High School website for a determination of fees.
