Have you ever wondered what this machine is in The Hero Gym?

This machine is used to for lower body strength and quad muscle development. It is designed to isolate the quadriceps by anchoring the feet and calves, allowing the user to lean back and squat with a more vertical shin position. This machine requires balance, which can improve lower body stability while helping to engage the core muscle to maintain balance throughout the movement.

So, how does one use this machine?

First, you want to adjust the machine to where the two front pads are as close to your ankles as possible. Once you have adjusted the machine to fit your needs, it's simple, you squat down to the lowest range possible that you can and extend back up. The key factor to extending back up, is to push your calves into the back pad.

If you want to add difficulty to this exercise, you can hold onto a dumbbell.

If you’re looking to add variety and intensity to your training plan, check out the sled push — an excellent exercise for overall conditioning, strength development, improving speed and acceleration, and torching calories.

Whether you throw it in as a finisher to a leg workout or make it part of a full-body circuit, adding the sled push to your routine will challenge your body to achieve better results.

The benefits include: Better Overall Conditioning, Help improve your speed and agility, and it's a great functional workout that can carry over and help your everyday activities!

If you’re new to the sled push, it’s safer to start in a more upright high-grip position, with your hands higher on the sled. This places your body at about a 45-degree angle, which is easier and safer for your lower back.

If you’re more advanced, you can drop to a low-grip position, which places your body at a 90-degree angle. You should attempt this position only once you’re accustomed to the basic version of the exercise.

Stop down to The Hero Gym and try it out!

Football Bar-

The football bar, also known as a Swiss bar bench press, uses a specialized bar with angled handles to promote a neutral grip and potentially reduce shoulder strain, while also emphasizing triceps activation.

The football bar can be used for bench press, tricep accessories, and/or used for a shoulder press.

The best part? The football bar allows for various grips. You can use close, wide, or neutral grip, perfect for a wide range of exercises.
