Red and I have had a couple fantastic days on the river!! Day one we limited on walleye by 9:30! That gave us plenty of time to pound on the smallies! We caught numerous smallies with some pigs mixed in! Day 2 was spent in a different area. We fell just short of our walleye limit but the pike made up for it!! Red caught a massive 42 1/2 inch monster pike!!! Sorry 🤣 for the taxidermy bill Red! We also had another decent pike and (again) it wouldn’t be a trip to the river without a big cat! Couple fun days with a great guy!! Hope to see you next year buddy!

Tim and Jerry had a couple fantastic days on the river!! They wanted smallies (and they got em) but ended up with a phenomenal mixed bad of smallies, walleye, and white bass!! NO BAIT was needed, we caught all our fish on reaction baits while bouncing between spots!! So fun! Tim has been with me for a few years now, so there was a lot of trash talking. Great guys and a lot of fun. I have a couple days open in September, and a few in October. Gimme a call if you wanna get in on some great fall fishing!!!!

Kenny and Mike pushed all the way to the end of the tourney. They ended up 3rd in the men’s team division!!! There was a lot of competition and the guys did a fantastic job!!! Big congratulations to them for a great finish in a National event!!

3 days of scouting paid off for Mike and Kenny! After the first day of competition in the National Freshwater Spearfishing Tourney they are setting in 3 place! They work hard and can definitely shoot! Here are some pics from today! I’ll also try and post some pics from the final day tomorrow. Hope they can edge up a couple places!!!

Kelci and Derek had a good day on the river! They managed a nice limit of walleyes, and quite a few smallies! They caught most of the walleyes pitching plastics up shallow! We did however have to drop out deeper to catch the last few on crawlers. Super fun day with a great couple! See you guys next trip!
