Avery now teaching Maha Mobility 📣
We’re excited to introuduce Avery (they/them) who teaches Maha Mobility on Tuesday evenings and Maha Flow Monday evenings.
Many of you may already know Avery as a familiar face around the studio. After more than a decade of practicing at yoga studios across the country, Avery found a home at Maha in 2021—first as a student, and now as a teacher after completing their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2025. ✨
Avery brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to movement shaped by a lifetime of varied physical experiences. Growing up alongside a physically-disabled single mother while training in strict ballet classes gave them an early understanding that every body moves differently—and deserves individualized care and attention.
Their classes focus on fine-tuning movement, building awareness, and helping students develop strength and resilience through a mobility-informed lens. 💪🏼 Expect a practice that feels intentional, intelligent, and deeply human.
If you haven't already, check out class with Avery! 💫
