There is no organization in the civil legal assistance world that deserves more praise and recognition. . . MIE is a gem in our national system.

MIE is a nonprofit organization that advances best practices and innovation in the legal aid community, supporting program leadership by providing training, consulting and a flagship journal alongside a full and free exchange of ideas across the field. “Twenty-five years ago, MIE was founded to fill a huge need within the civil legal assistance community for management training and support, and it has done so effectively, impressively, and with extraordinary quality. It is a civil legal aid treasure and an indispensible resource.”
~ Alan W. Houseman, Executive Director, Center for Law and Social Policy
