Fruit is healthy—but timing matters.

In Ayurveda, fruit is traditionally enjoyed on its own rather than immediately after a heavy meal.

Why?

Because fruit digests differently from many other foods. Eating it separately may help support comfortable digestion and reduce that overly full feeling some people experience.

Try this instead:

Enjoy fruit as a mid-morning snack
Eat it 30–60 minutes before a meal
Choose seasonal fruits when possible

Small changes in how you eat can be just as important as what you eat.
