Day 1 with Gary, Alex, Andrew and David we targeted lake trout. There was a nice breeze in the morning that kept the temperature comfortable. The bite was very good. The guys took turns and managed to land many lakers with several doubles. There was even a triple. Thanks guys for a busy day.

Oh what a day to be on the water! We worked around heavy winds from the north. Eric and Jim mustered up determination and fought, landed and released quite a few very nice quality smallmouth bass. Thanks guys and ACGS for a great day.

Today was Barb and Bob’s third trip of the year and there was a lot of challenges. Mother Nature decided not to follow the rules. We had high winds with high waves. We persevered and did get some very nice smallmouth in the boat and all released successfully. Still, always enjoyable despite conditions. Thanks guys and ACGS for a great day.

Caleb and Seth’s annual trip to Lake Champlain for smallmouth fishing was met with a rainy start. They traveled from Colorado to enjoy both the beautiful views and the great fishing. Neither were disappointed. They were busy all day finding and landing some great quality fish. Thanks guys and ACGS for a great day.

I got a chance to change the program and spend the day trolling. Brian, Shawna, and Gabe came up to check out the north country. Today was about fishing Lake Champlain. The Lake Trout kept them busy. We had a great time with beautiful views. Thanks guys and ACGS for a wonderful day.

I spent the last three days on Lake Champlain with Randy, George and Joe. We found copious amounts of smallmouth bass and northern pike in several spots and we had plenty of laughs each day. Thanks guys and ACGS for great time.

Lee and Joe were hoping for good weather on their second trip to Lake Champlain for smallmouth. The weather cooperated with manageable winds and hot bites both days. Saturday was great with both landing their personal best smallmouth. Lee also landed his best northern pike (36”). Sunday they raised the bar with Lee landing a chunky smallmouth (5 lbs 12 ounces) — then Joe boated a large smallmouth (4lbs 10 ounces). Thanks guys and ACGS for a great weekend.

Tuesday started our three days targeting smallmouth bass. Cliff and Ken’s annual May trip was met with cold then two days of rain. They were up for the task and boated fish all three days. There were some very nice smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and northern pike. Thanks guys and ACGS for three great days.
