I enjoyed spending time on the lake with Pete and his grandson Cade on Friday. We trolled for salmon and lake trout, a new type of fishing for Cade. He was a trooper reeling in over 160 feet of line (each time) and landing salmon, lake trout then a very large steelhead (9 lbs 6 ounces). Pete and Cade reeled in double salmon and Cade added three different species to his list. Quite a memorable day. Thanks guys!

Today, I spent the day with Dave in search of bass and pike in the morning. The wind was out of the south making it difficult. Dave managed to land a very large pike and a bunch of bass. We decided to relocate to a better conditions. We targeted salmon and it did not take long. He landed several salmon and lake trout. Thanks Dave and ACGS for a great day.

Today’s trip started earlier than normal due to bad weather forecasted. The winds increased as the day progressed. Returning enthusiasts Bob, Eric and John brought Tom this year. Tom’s first time fishing trip ended with landing the largest salmon and lake trout for the boat. Great day landing salmon, lake trout, and bass. Not sure if Tom will be invited next year. Thanks guys for another memorable trip.

Today’s trip was very special, my son (Ryan) and grandson (Clark) were on board. Clark wanted to troll for salmon and lake trout. His constant eating and talking was so much fun to watch. He landed two lake trout and a salmon. We ended the day with several lake trout, salmon and a very nice walleye. What a special day.

Tuesday’s trip started with more waves than was predicted. We trolled with the waves then moved to a protected part of the lake. Jim and Cruiser took turns bringing fish to the net. Jim landed the biggest with Cruiser landing the most species. She boated salmon, lake trout and smallmouth bass, all very nice. They switched to casting for bass for the last couple of hours and were quite successful. It was a great day! Thanks guys and ACGS.

Nancy and I fished the LCI derby in search of salmon. We had to deal with wind all three days. We had a great time together during the rain, wind and thunderstorms. We did manage to net both salmon and lake trout. It was a very successful three days.

Today was the annual fishing trip with Bernie and Frank. Just like previous years, it was very enjoyable. Conditions were good to start and warmed up as the day went on. We hit different areas of the lake and found fish just about everywhere. It was a winning day for both guys. Thanks for another great time and thanks ACGS.

Steve and Don were in search of smallmouth today. We dealt with rain and wind. We definitely found them and landed a lot of healthy fish (which were successfully released). They had several doubles throughout the day and Steve also boated a very nice walleye. Thanks guys for another year of fishing together and for a great day and thank you ACGS.
