Three miles, after 144 hours. She’s spent a year with that number.

Today she toes the line on Lake Balaton — the same water Joe Fejes ran 606 around in 2015. Same lake. Same distance ahead of her.

She told us it’s the race she loves most: one foot in front of the other, and a puzzle in how to spend every minute. She said she keeps getting inspired by what others show is possible. She’s spent her career quietly doing the same for the people behind her.

Six days start now. We’ll be watching every one of them.
