Race season is rolling in every direction right now 🌎🔥

This week, we’ve got riders lining up at the OZ Stage Race in Bentonville while another crew prepares for Unbound out in Emporia. Different disciplines, same problem: sharp rocks and the constant threat of flats.

That’s why our athletes trust Orange Seal. Whether it’s rugged singletrack or endless gravel miles, we want sealant we can count on when the terrain gets rough and the race pace gets high. Because really… nobody wants to stop trailside or in the middle of the Flint Hills to change a flat during a race.

Here’s to fewer flats and more miles 🤘

Some people pin numbers.
Some people pin the entire weekend together.

From jackets and bags… to bottles, aid stations, housing, camps, team calls, and making sure we actually get to the start line on time, somehow does it all (usually while carrying half the team’s belongings 😅).

This photo pretty much says it all.

There are a lot of moving pieces behind every race weekend, and we simply wouldn’t run the way we do without Erin, our Team Director, keeping things organized and the team cared for every step of the way.

Thank you for the countless things you do that most people never even see. We appreciate you more than we can put into words 🫶

Big efforts at Angler’s Ridge from the team this past weekend 💥

At some point, everyone has race day nerves.

The goal isn’t to feel good the entire time while racing, it’s to be effective when it counts.

Discomfort, nerves, uncertainty… that’s the environment of racing. Learn to take it and turn it into action.

A few cues we use:

🔹 Discomfort = you’re in it
That’s where the race actually starts.

🔸 Shift the mindset
“This is what I trained for.”

🔹 Nerves = readiness
Your body is preparing, not holding you back.

🔸 Keep it simple in-race
Short cues. Stay present. Focus on what’s in front of you.

The best racers don’t avoid discomfort. They know what to do when it shows up.

Pick a phrase. Practice it. Use it next race.

For us, that’ll be at the 👊

Pro rider .feehan is lining up at the World Cup in South Korea today 🇰🇷 The whole DCR crew is behind him and cheering from afar.

Let’s go, Devon! Show them what you’ve got. 💪🚀

💥 New gear just dropped in the DCR Team Store 👀

This one’s for everyone - athletes, parents, family, friends, fans. If you’re part of this community, you’re part of this.

We added a mix of everyday pieces you’ll actually want to wear:
• Sounder tees (thicker cotton, boxy fit)
• Lightweight crewneck for year-round use
• Two hoodies — one clean + low-profile, one classic + ultra solid
• A few button-down options to round things out

Perfect for race weekends, travel days, or just spotting each other across the venue… because nothing beats seeing your people out on course or at the feed zone 🙌

Whether you’re lining up, handing up bottles, or cheering from the sidelines, this is an easy way to show up as a team.

Race season is on fire 🔥

From XCO and Pro Cup weekends to gravel races and MTB stage races, the team has been showing up and putting in the work across the board.

When it comes to the small details that make a big difference, we’re running ESI Grips on our flat bars. Lightweight, comfortable, and dialed for control, they help cut down vibration and keep things steady when the pace picks up.

Favorite feature? Being able to choose the thickness that fits each rider best. Because at the end of the day… grips shouldn’t leave a mark on your hands.

🚵‍♀️ Meet the Team: Jayce Cooper (.coop3r)
📍 Berkeley, CA | 🎂 17 | 🔥 XCO, XCM, Gravel

Jayce got her start riding with her parents in Florida and completed her first century ride at just 7 years old 🤯 An early sign of what was to come. Since then, she’s been all-in on racing, building experience across mountain, gravel, and road disciplines and developing into a well-rounded endurance athlete.

We’re excited to have Jayce on board this season. A strong engine and love for racing make her one to watch. 🚴‍♀️🔥

Race season is starting. Early jitters are out of the way, first efforts are complete, and things beginning to ramp up.

If you haven’t solidified your race calendar yet, this is the framework our team and coaches use to set athletes up for a successful season:

1️⃣ A Races: Pick 2–4 true goals you can peak for.
2️⃣ B + C Races: Use them as checkpoints or training days.
3️⃣ Training Races: Go in tired, learn, recover, get fitter.
4️⃣ Mix Disciplines: Gravel, MTB, road - build a complete engine.
5️⃣ Rest Blocks: 7–10 days of recovery after hard periods.

Bonus: Keep strength work short + functional in-season.

Plan with intention. Race with purpose.

Big days of racing at the US CUP MTB 💥
Wins, podiums, PRs, and a lot of athletes executing what they’ve been working on. 💪

Racing is about more than just riding hard.
It’s about showing up prepared - and that includes how you fuel.

Here’s the framework we guide our athletes through on race days:

🥞 Before (2–4 hrs):
Carb-focused meal to top off energy stores

🚲 During:
Fuel early and often - especially on longer or harder days

🍝 After (within 30 min):
Aim for ~3:1 carbs to protein
Full meal within ~1.5 hours

It’s simple, repeatable, and it works.

Train it. Practice it. Execute it.
