🌟 Discipline - WEEK 7: Visualize Your Goals!
Hello Parents!
This week, we’re continuing the dive into the important life skill of Discipline! We’re focusing on how vision plays a key role in helping our kids achieve their goals. Let's get excited about teaching them to "Obey What Is Right"!
In Class:Beginning of Class: We’ll discuss how vision is a powerful tool for disciplined students. We’ll ask each child, “What is your goal today?”
During Class: With testing approaching, students will visualize what a champion looks like—strong, confident, and disciplined. We’ll encourage them to see their future accomplishments!
End of Class: We’ll remind students that a leader at home has a vision for their behavior, their room, and their school performance. We'll ask, “Who is using vision at home?”
How You Can Support at Home:
1) Encourage Goal Setting: Help your child set small, achievable goals for the week. Talk about why these goals are important and how they can reach them.
2) Discuss Vision: Ask your child to visualize their goals. What do they want to achieve? How will they feel when they reach it? Encourage them to keep their goals in mind daily.
3) Create a Vision Board: Help your child make a vision board at home with pictures and words that represent their goals. This can be a fun and creative way to keep their dreams in sight!
4) Activity to Reinforce the Skill:Vision Journal: Start a “Vision Journal” together! Each day, have your child write down one goal and draw or describe what achieving that goal looks like. At the end of the week, review their entries and celebrate their progress!
Let’s inspire our kids to use vision as a powerful tool for discipline and achievement! 🌟💪
