This is what a promotion night looks like when you have been a huge part of building a community. The belt is cool but man the journey is amazing. After 6 years at Blackbelt Andrew Mosedale awarded my second degree in Phils absence. Much respect for Phil in being the biggest influence in my journey and also everyone I pass his Jiu Jitsu on to. Deka has been training under Phil and myself for many years and has earned his blackbelt from me but also with the influence of many others that have helped him along the way. Brandan Anderson earned his brown belt today too after many hard years on the mat. What an amazing night!!

Ft Lauderdale was a huge success for our team. Out of six adult competitors we came home 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. Every competitor medaled displaying all the hard work they put in for this tournament. Congrats to everyone and can’t wait for the next one 👊🏼🥋

What an amazing time at kids Pans Nogi. All of our kids worked hard and it definitely showed on the mats. Lots of experience gained from this event. Airy brings home silver making her a Pans gi and Nogi medalist. So proud of these kids and all of their hardwork. Back to training and prepping for the next one 🙌🏽

They say you win or you learn and I’ll tell you that I have done lots of learning. So far being a black belt for six years and competing I have only gave up 2 points at an IBJJF tournament. I have lost by advantage, refs decision and most recently at Masters Worlds lost by 1 penalty. No matter what stay the course and the results will come. Huge thanks to everyone that trains with me and all of my family that supports me. I absolutely love this journey and I couldn’t do it without yall. Special thanks to my wife for being my number one cheerleader, my kids for keeping me ready and my students for believing in me. If you know me then you know it’s already on to the next one 👊🏼🥋

You don’t have train at a bunch of different gyms or have a bunch of different training partners when you have quality training at home. Relson Gracie Jiu Jitsu is street tested and competition approved 🥋🥷
