Bridge FIXED on Thayer Trail!
Huge shoutout to our trail crew — you guys crushed it out there today. The bridge is repaired, solid, and ready for riders again.

Your hard work, time, and muscle mean everything to this club.
We appreciate you more than you know.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I would like to give some shout-outs to those who helped make today's Safety Course a great success.

First, thank you to Darcey Emery for coming out and teaching the course. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated.

A big thank you to ATV Maine for providing the pizza, the safety trailer, and the youth ATV. Special thanks to Karyn and George Varney, who braved the rain and gave these new riders a chance to experience riding a machine safely and responsibly. The kids absolutely loved it!

Thank you as well to Parkside Variety for donating two of the pizzas and making them all—they were delicious and very much appreciated.

Another sincere thank you goes to Goodwin Well & Water, Inc.. for sponsoring the T-shirts, and to Ride The North for making them.

Without the support of all of you, we could not have made today the success that it was. As president of the club, it was wonderful to see so many happy kids and to know they are now trained to ride our trails safely and responsibly.

Thank you all for your generosity, support, and commitment to the next generation of riders!

Good afternoon, members and riders.

First, I would like to remind everyone that Oxford Trail Ryders expects all members and guests using our trail system to treat our landowners with the respect and appreciation they deserve. Without their generosity, we would not have access to many of the trails we enjoy today.

This morning, I was contacted by a landowner who was considering closing her trail due to riders verbally abusing her and operating their machines in an unsafe manner. After speaking with her, she agreed to keep the trail open, as I assured her that the club would address the issue and monitor the situation.

If you are riding between Bumpus Farm LLC and the South Paris powerline, you must slow down, stop when necessary, and wait for a safe opportunity to cross. Do not accelerate aggressively, spin your tracks or tires, or tear up driveways and trail entrances.

I was also contacted by a landowner on Number Six Road who reported that some machines are traveling faster than the posted automobile speed limit. Access to secondary roads is a privilege, and behavior like this puts that privilege at risk.

The message is simple: slow down, ride responsibly, and respect our landowners. Failure to do so could result in the loss of trail access for everyone.

Remember, this is their property, not ours. Riding is a privilege, not a right. If you choose to ride our trails, you are expected to follow these basic rules and show the respect that our landowners deserve.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our trails safe and open for everyone.

💚 What a night for the Oxford Trail Ryders family! 💚

We had 24 incredible members come together tonight — parents, grandparents, kids, and longtime riders all sharing ideas, laughing, and helping shape the future of our club. Nights like this remind us that what we’re building is so much bigger than trails.

It’s families connecting, neighbors supporting neighbors, and a community creating memories that will be passed down for generations. Seeing so many families in the room tonight is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with heart, excitement, and true community spirit. This season is already shaping up to be something unforgettable. 🏁

Here’s to a safe, fun, family‑filled ATV season — we can’t wait to see everyone out on the trails soon.
