A reminder to everyone: Sea Bass season remains open through October 14, 2026!

Throughout September, we'll be fishing for Porgy and Sea Bass on trips running from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., seven days a week, weather permitting.

Our October Tautog season is also approaching quickly. We're hoping to repeat last year's incredible Tautog season, which was one of our best yet!

I know everyone is impatiently waiting for a good fishing report, but unfortunately the fishing is still very slow. The average catch varies from 5 fish to 30 fish depending on the person and the day. Today's catch of the day was a massive striped bass. Unfortunately, it was too big to keep.

We have completed the first three days of the 2026 fishing season, and a significant increase in fishing productivity has been noted with each passing day. On Sunday, anglers averaged approximately 25-30 porgies per person, with a few individuals reaching their daily limit. Weather forecasts indicate high winds within the next few days, which may impact our schedule and necessitate cancellations.

Today was our first fishing day of the season. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather; however, the fishing was extremely slow. We ended up with a handful of porgies, tautog, and one winter flounder. Here are some pictures from today.

We are looking for a full time / part time Deckhand's to join our crew! IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! Responsibilities include assisting customers while boarding and fishing, maintaining the safety of the vessel, and cleaning up after each trip. We are looking for multiple candidates who are reliable, maintain a positive attitude, can follow the directions of the captain and are willing to learn. Reliable transportation to the Onset Town Pier is required. Must be able to lift 50lbs. No experience is required. Pay depends on individual skill and enthusiasm to work. (Pay is per trip plus tips.) Just a quick reminder. We will start taking reservations for 2026 fishing season tomorrow February 1st at 8am. The weather has not been very nice to us, so I am hoping that everyone is staying safe, healthy and warm!

Woww what a great fishing weekend!!! We even limited out on Sunday and headed back to the dock earlier. We have last weekend ahead of us before we end our fishing season of 2025.

Tautog fishing in Buzzards Bay has been very good. We can say with confidence that the majority of people have been reaching their legal limit of Tautog. We have only a couple weeks left of our fishing season, so don’t wait too long to book your trip! The Miss Chris leaves from the Onset Town Pier (The trip time: 7AM - 3PM; @$110 per person). Our 6-man charter Helen Nikole is available for Tautog fishing as well. Enjoy some pictures taken from the past couple Sundays.
