Following the traditions of the game, the course was designed to be walkable, with short distances from green to tee. Prairie Highlands is designed by well known Kansas city architect Craig Schreiner and owned by GreatLIFE Kansas City. es since the day it opened in 2001, and underwent a massive bunker renovation in 2020, installing new Billy Bunkers in every bunker and filling in some as well. With five sets of tees ranging from 7,100 yards down to 3,900 yards, this course really is set up for players of every skill level. The zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens are always in great condition and make for a great experience time and time again.
