The impact this young man has had on St. Clair County as a whole is undeniable. He grew up here, and he has left a legacy that can never be forgotten. The impact goes far beyond athletics. His joyful presence in the hallways, his work ethic on the field and in the classroom, and his overall infectious positive attitude that he brings every day has left an impression on everyone he encounters. As the kids like to say…He is HIM. Now he will embark on a new adventure to have a lasting impact as a student- athlete at Huntingdon College! There’s no doubt that he will leave a legacy there as well. Tra Jones, we’re so very proud of you and all your many accomplishments, you have earned every bit of it. We will miss you, but we can’t wait to watch you flourish in your next chapter at HC! Whoop!!

We have more postseason football awards to celebrate at St. Clair County High School. Congratulations to Josh Douthard, Kameron Gaines, Kendall Harris, Tra’Vell Jones, and Landyn Smith on being named All-County. Another big congratulations to Michael Gomer, Brody Haynes, and Jordan Thomas on being recognized as Honorable Mentions. This recognition is well-deserved. We are proud of the work, toughness, and commitment these young men showed all season. Saints Nation is proud.⚜🏈

Well, the sun came up again this morning. And while last night did not go the way we expected or wanted, it was still so much better than being done at game ten. This season’s successes far outweigh the four quarters of last night.

It takes so many people, roles, and moving parts to build a football season like the one we just experienced. If we started naming everyone who played a part, we would inevitably leave someone out. So instead, we want to thank our entire Saints community. You followed us, believed in us, and supported us from game one to game twelve. For that, we are forever grateful.

We wish we were preparing for another playoff game next week, but we want you to know this: it will not be another eight years before you get the chance to watch us in the playoffs. The foundation is here, the momentum is real, and the future is bright.

Lastly, to our seniors: Thank you. We love you. We will miss you. And you will always be Saints.⚜️🏈
