Bruce Blakeman is coming to the Genesee County Fairgrounds June 13th. Someone should kindly send him a copy of the Hughes Amendment of 86 where it states no federal or state agency shall keep a fire a rms registry.

Our next meeting is Monday June 1st. If you're volunteering to work one of our upcoming events please plan on attending. Also plan on picking up our new Club orientation booklet. This has taken about 6 months of work and is a lot more informative than the old "Bylaws" book we handed out in the past. Because it's 8 1/2" x 11" they will not be mailed - you can pick up a hard copy at a meeting or we can email a pdf copy to you. We have also developed a new members spreadsheet that will allow us to better organize everything. We need your help gathering data - email addresses, phone numbers, etc.

Also bring any sold meat raffle tickets.

We lost another long time member and friend. Tim Schiavi was our vice president and range officer for a number of years a long time member of the Club. He passed on a few weeks back. Our thoughts are with his brothers Wayne and Cook and his family. Godspeed my friend.

It's in the works!!!!! Plan on some great music by local artists and help raise money for a wonderful charity this Fathers Day!!!! This years charity is WINGS Flight of Hope - if you haven't heard of them look into it. All of us who have someone in their world dealing with cancer or health issues needs to check them out. It is with great sadness that we have lost our oldest member - Mr Wilbur Easton. Wilbur was a WW2 veteran and founding member of the Oakfield Rod and Gun Club. Many of us met him for the first time at our Fathers Day picnic. Our hearts and thoughts go out to his family.

We had about 12 people show up for work day and got a lot accomplished. Thank you to everyone who came out to lend a hand and thank you Buddy Greene for making lunch!
