Thank you everyone for your patience and support through this crazy time!!! We will finally be able to open the doors at Backyard Barbell!

The rules are listed below and will be listed at the gym accordingly.

For the month we attempted to reopen and processed everyone’s membership fees, (July) you will all be receiving the first month (September) free as compensation (Plan on October 1st being the next processing date).

Please pass this alone to everyone!!

Well Backyard Barbell tried! We attempted to open our doors and follow the safety guidelines around Covid-19 to show that we can be open and operating safely. Unfortunately due to multiple calls from citizens of my town into the NYPAUSE hotline to report my business illegally operating, I am forced to re close the doors. The local Sheriffs department stopped at the facility as well as my shop to inform me. My apologies to all of my members as I tried my best! To everyone whose membership was ran for the opening last week you will be receiving a refund. Once again my deepest apologizes for any false hope and GOD BLESS NYS!!!

As of today, against what the Government has said and issued. Backyard Barbell is going to reopen. Please everybody use their common sense when is comes to social distancing and sanitation. Please follow all the rules listed on multiple posters located all around the gym. Enough is enough and this has gone on to long as it is. You all have had my back and I have yours. Lift on Fam 💯💯🔥🔥🔥

To whom it may concern:

Backyard Barbell and Previous Trainer “Jon” have decided to part ways. Jon has chosen another local location to hold his training out of due to lower cost of rent witch is much more affordable for him, and in his views a better facility “which we know there isn’t any spot better than backyard”! In better news, We have already solidified 2 new personal trainers one female and one male who will be starting as soon as we are able to open! I appreciate all of your patience and understanding through this time! Big things coming in the following months so please stay posted!!!!
