WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Many fire hydrants are completely covered by snow. When seconds count, a buried hydrant, like this one, can take precious minutes to clear.

Please help us help you by digging out the hydrant nearest your home:

-Clear 3 full feet in all directions
-Make sure there is a clear path from the street to the hydrant

Your help can make a real difference in an emergency. Thank you for supporting us and helping to keep our community safe.

"When the storm wraps up tomorrow, take care not to over-exert yourself when shoveling. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks. If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask a friend, family member, or neighbor. When it comes to digging out of snowstorms, in New England, we’re all on the same team and ready to pitch in." -MEMA Director Dawn Brantley
