All girls class yesterday. They bullied me around. Very impressed with how tough they are. We will have kids class this weekend 9-10am including 3-4 year olds. Catch you all on the mats!

Another successful tourney yesterday. Both the kiddos coming back home with gold and more. Peyton had 12 matches for the day, most of them were in the elite brackets. That puts his jiujitsu career at 84 wins. John had to go up a weight class and still choked one of his opponents to sleep. He also jumped in the elite bracket for the first time, that takes a lot of guts to do when it’s only your second tournament. Proud of these two little savages and impressed even more. Blessed to have hard working kids like these two at the gym! Catch them on the mats.

We have Peyton and lil John competing at the Cincinnati FUJI tomorrow morning. They are both coming off gold winning tourneys from just a couple weeks ago, they are looking to repeat same result. Excited for them to showcase their skill sets.

With that going on, there will be no kid or adult classes Saturday morning. We will be back at the gym Sunday at 6pm for MMA class. Catch you all on the mats!

Fight posters starting to come out. We have two more fighting on this card as well. Future of Fighting on 4th street is one of the best promotions to fight at, especially in Louisville area. Be sure to tune in and catch some live action! Keep it savage out there.

Great class yesterday. A lot of the guys preparing for competition coming up. Competing in wrestling, jiujitsu, MMA, Muay Thai. We are all over the place! Blessed to have such hard working active competitors. Excited to seem them all showcase their skills in the spotlights. We do have a jiujitsu tourney this weekend, so there will not be kids class Saturday morning. Catch these hard workers on the mats!

A great tourney for Gastank MMA today! We had 3 compete, bringing back 6 gold medals and 2 silvers.

Peyton doing Peyton things and bounced around a lot of brackets. He earned 4 gold and 1 silver. The only lost he had came from going up a belt level.

It was John’s first tourney and he rolled like it’s his 100th tourney. He got gold in his original bracket but then had the courage to go up a bracket and got a silver. That takes a lot of bravery for a kid to do their first tourney.

It was also Mads first tourney and she absolutely smashed. She earned gold in her original bracket beating someone 10 years older than her. She wanted to bounce around brackets but there were none available. But that goes to show how brave she is too.

So proud of you 3 and everyone else who represents Gastank MMA. I’m blessed to have such hard working savages compete under the Gastank banner. You know we stay busy, so be ready to tune in for the next tourney coming soon. Until then, catch these savages on the mats!

Today we did a seminar for two families that are homeschooled. Was a great time and they all did so well. We got to go over a lot of techniques and play some martial arts games too. If you and your family have ever thought about joining the gym, but just a little nervous, try our family private session first to get that nervousness out.

Killer Sundays class! A lot of great wrestling minds in, showing great techniques. Proud of these wrestlers for finding extra mat time. Excited to see them compete this year.

Nick has been a huge part of the wrestling growing here at Gastank MMA. He is now 3-0 in MMA and just made the number 1 ranked spot in the region! Gonna be a belt around his waist soon. Until then, catch him on the mats!
