We are getting SO excited to kick off another season of Rising Sun Cheer!

Whether you’ve cheered for years or you’re thinking about trying something new, come out, give it your best, and have FUN! Cheer is a great way to meet new people, make new friends, build confidence, and be part of something special.

We’re looking for athletes who bring energy, effort, a positive attitude, coachability, and a willingness to work hard and grow. Tryouts are about more than just skills, we want to see your potential, your personality, and what YOU can bring to our program!

🖤🧡 There’s something truly special about committing to a team you’ve helped build from the ground up. Starting fresh, welcoming new coaches, girls, and volunteers, and growing together has made this season unlike anything I’ve experienced in my 16 years of coaching high school cheerleading.

I’ve watched these athletes form a bond so strong that while the drive to win is always there, what matters most is the connection, the growth, and the pride they take in standing beside one another, no matter the outcome. They consistently choose confidence, kindness, and strength, and for that alone I could not be more proud.

What a truly wonderful competition weekend in Ocean City with the Rising Sun High School Cheer Team! 🧡🖤 So proud of this amazing group of girls who showed up, worked hard, and supported each other every step of the way. We had so much fun meeting new friends, cheering on other teams, and competing with such a positive, uplifting spirit. This weekend was about more than just routines and scores—it was about teamwork, confidence, and memories that will last a lifetime. Couldn’t ask for a better group to spend it with. Tigers, you make me proud every single day! 🐯
