Reminder today is Early Equipment pickups for tackle football players from 11-1pm at Cecil Arena. Full equipment handouts will be next weekend for everyone.

To qualify as an Early Registration you must have
- Registered by 7/14
- Be paid in full

No one registered after 7/14 will be provided equipment until next weekends team pickups which times will be posted this evening.

As a reminder deposit checks are no longer required by you must sign an equipment release paper and your child must be present to be fitted.

Just for clarification to an email sent the other day regarding registration and equipment handouts.

We're no longer requiring deposits for equipment. No check, cash or money order. Instead you will sign a paper acknowledging that equipment must be returned in order for your athlete to participate in any future Cecil County Parks and Recreation programs.

As we mentioned prior this year the league is requiring a State ID, Passport, or Military ID for all athletes playing tackle football. There are some states that have exceptions to the ages for IDs and there is a waiver program for that. Maryland is not one of them.

We heard the feedback loud and clear. After reaching out to other UCYFL teams and hearing from interested athletes we’re adding High School Girls Flag football to the agenda groups! Grades 9-12 will compete with other UCYFL programs high school girls on the turf!

High School flag football is on the rise for girls and this gives our girls an opportunity to be prepared when it’s here in Cecil County.

Practices will be in the evenings not to interfere with High School sports and games on Saturdays!

In a bittersweet post we're disappointed to announce that due to low registrations and coaching departures, we've decided to cancel Cecil Wolfpack Cheer for this upcoming fall season. We will continue to work this season and next off-season to build a program valuable to our community. Current registrations can contact CCPR for refunds at 410-656-5125.

However we understand that the importance of having programs for the girls and young ladies in our community, and we're excited to announce Cecil Wolfpack Girls Flag Football! The girls ages 9-14 have the option to participate in our upcoming inaugural season joining teams like Bel Air, Edgewood and other UCYL programs in competition.

The program will cost $100 and include full uniform and flags and games will be played on Saturday. Home games will be at Calvert Regional Park with away games scheduled with other UCYFL programs this fall. Practice days are TBD but will be twice a week.

Girls flag football is one of the most active sports in the world, and we're ready to make a mark in this competitive atmosphere. The core program will revolve around confidence, fundamentals, competition and dedication. We know that our Cecil County girls will go out and make a statement.
