A Labor Day Reflection 🤍

We spend so much of our lives doing.

Working. Caring. Creating. Providing. Planning. Achieving.
Moving on to the next thing before we've even acknowledged all that we've already done.

Labor Day invites us to pause.

To honor the work that built our communities, shaped our lives, and continues quietly around us every day.

But perhaps it can also remind us of something we sometimes forget:

We were never meant to labor without rest.

Rest is not a reward for finishing everything on the list.
It isn't laziness.
And it doesn't need to be earned.

Rest is part of the rhythm.

So today, may you appreciate the work of your hands, your heart, and your mind—and give yourself permission to put it down for a little while.

Breathe. Rest. Be.
