Well... We couldn't generate the numbers we were hoping for and we're thinking tomorrow's less-than-favorable weather forecast had something to do with it...

So we're unfortunately having to cancel the MRUHS Anniversary Scramble scheduled for Saturday 6/6/2026 at 9AM.

With that being the case, the course is now WIDE OPEN tomorrow and available for tee times by calling there clubhouse (802.773.2666) or booking online (https://stonehedgegolfcourse3.fullslate.com).

What better way to "tee off" Mill River Union High School's 50th Anniversary Celebration than a 18-hole team scramble at Stonehedge Golf on Saturday 6/6/2026 (9AM-1PM with registration starting at 8:30AM)?!?!

This event is semi-competitive and fully-fun and open to all MRUHS students, alumni, faculty (past or present), board members and/or community members. All skill levels are welcome and, if you don't have clubs, you're welcome to our our rentals for FREE!!!

Prices have been discounted for this event and include 18-holes of golf, carts, and ALL side bets (i.e., EVERYTHING)!

With rain in the forecast until approximately 9AM, Stonehedge will be on a delayed opening today (Saturday 5/30). The plan is to have the course ready for play at 11AM. Anyone with tee times between 9AM and 10:50AM this morning can contact the clubhouse before 9AM and reschedule.

We appreciate your patience! It's been a crazy MAY!!!

Please note that Stonehedge Golf will be on a delayed opening tomorrow - Tuesday 5/26. We'll be verticutting (i.e., "slicing" and dethatching) all of our greens and plan to have the course available for play at 1PM - we'll be closed to the public up until that time.

Verticutting a scheduled, horticultural practice we use every Spring to promote growth on our bentgrass greens and help to make them healthier as we move into the warmer, summer months.

As noted in the pics we've provided, you'll notice verticutting lines on the greens for a week (or two), but should also see some increased putting speed on the greens after this half-day effort is complete.

If we wrap things up earlier and can open the course before 1PM, we'll post a social media update and open up our online tee time system (https://stonehedgegolfcourse3.fullslate.com/).

With yesterday's rain pushing into this morning, Stonehedge Golf will be on a delayed opening today (Monday 5/25). We will have the course ready for play at 11:30AM and run until our last tee time of 6:20PM.

We'll be making a call on golf carts after we fully inspect the course and will provide an update later this morning. You can also call the clubhouse (802.773.2666) with any questions after 11AM today.

Happy Memorial Day and MANY THANKS to all of the military service people whose sacrifices make ALL of this possible!!!

We're calling this one EARLY, folks...

High temps that are only going to "touch" 50-degrees, rain/showers for the bulk of the day and 15-20 mph winds thrown in for good measure...

STAY HOME!!! (We are as well...)

Stonehedge Golf Course will be closed Sunday 5/24 due to some crappy weather in the forecast. We'll reopen Monday for Memorial Day once the rain stops.

FYI...

Please note that the indoor center will be CLOSED to the public today (Saturday 5/23/2026) for a full-building private event.

We appreciate your patience and will reopen on Friday 5/29 (4PM-10PM).

Our FIRST Men's Drop-In League of the 2026 season is TONIGHT (Thursday 5/21) and every Thursday night into September!!!

While our drop-in/scramble format remains the same for 2026, we're adding a few wrinkles to sweeten the pot this year!

1. Fiddlehead Brewery is our NEW Men's League sponsor and they're contributing some Fiddlehead swag for our weekly CTP competition! In return, we're taking $1 OFF all Fiddlehead IPA pints every Thursday!!!
2. In addition to our weekly payouts for Low Gross, Closest to the Pin, and Long Putt, we'll be maintaining a season-long leaderboard and paying out CA$H to our top three. The more you play, the more you $CORE!!!
3. And we're also adding a weekly raffle into the mix. Every time your attend a weekly Men's Drop-In event, you receive an entry into a raffle for a 2027 Stonehedge Golf membership! The more you play, the better your chances at scoring a year of FREE GOLF at Stonehedge. We'll draw the winner at our FINAL men's event of the season (in September) and you MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!!

This league is open to ALL SKILL LEVELS! Come by yourself and we'll add you to a scramble team or come with friends and you can play together.

Registration is from 5PM-5:30PM and we shotgun start at 5:30PM.
Let's pack the course TONIGHT and please share this with your friends, coworkers and family members - the more, the merrier (and it increased the side bet purses)!!!

Calling all couples!!! Well... TWO MORE, anyways!!!

And just so we're clear... By "couple", we're talking about any two people that can tolerate each other for 9-holes of golf on a Monday evening!!! And we're even flexible on the "tolerate" part!

We still have TWO openings in our SUPER-fun Monday Night Couples league. It's a 9-hole scramble and we handicap each team to level the playing field. All skill levels are welcome (and will fit right in...) and the only requirement is that you be able to commit every Monday night (5PM-7:30PM) - and you're welcome to make-up (or pre-play) a round when/if you have a conflict.

We payout side bet purses for closest to the pin (CTP), low net, our ZANY long putt, and a weekly progressive CTP that grows by $25 each week it isn't hit (and it grew to almost $500 last year).
