We are thrilled to announce that Gildas Lemonnier will return to the OU School of Dance as a full time faculty member, beginning in the Fall! We have loved having Gildas this past year as an adjunct instructor and are so excited to continue having him in the OU Dance Family.

Gildas Lemonnier is a French dance artist/educator, originally from Bretagne and based in Oklahoma City, OK and Paris, France. He has danced with reputable US dance companies such as the Martha Graham Dance Company, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Rioult Dance NY, Christopher Williams Dance, and BARE Dance Company. Other international credits include dancing for SML Dance in Tokyo, Japan, Julie Magneville, Althea Dance Company, and he was featured in NUMERO China Magazine. As a dance educator, Gildas has taught Graham technique and Contemporary Modern Dance at the IFPRO, Studio Harmonic and Dansez Maintenant in Paris, inliberomovimento global dance experience in Tuscany, Italy, and several American College Dance Association’s Central Conferences. Gildas has had the privilege of serving as a Modern Dance Adjunct Instructor, teaching Graham Technique, Contemporary Modern Dance, and Improvisation at both the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma. He is delighted to continue his time at OU as a full-time faculty member beginning in Fall 2026.
