The University of Oklahoma Lacrosse - Who We Are

The University of Oklahoma Men’s Lacrosse Team was founded in 1978 by a group of students who all shared the same passion for Sooner academics, athletics, and the game of lacrosse. After a brief hiatus, this team was revived by a group of students who shared the same initial passions and wanted to commit to the process of producing very competitive

OU lacrosse teams that ultimately compete for multiple championships. Most college lacrosse enthusiasts recognize The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) as a national organization of non-NCAA, college lacrosse programs that operate in the US and Canada; and has organized its 213 teams into two divisions and across ten conferences. The University of Oklahoma is a Division I member of the Lonestar Alliance Conference; which includes TCU, Texas State, Texas A&M, LSU, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Kansas, Missouri, and SMU. The OU team will be comprised of 35 players from all across the nation, has a close association with the university, and operates a $45,000+ annual budget. As a university athletic club program, player dues are supplemented by donations and sponsors from corporations, alumni, and friends of the Sooner Family which are vitally important to our continued success. Here at Oklahoma, we are a school built on a foundation of championships. This year we welcome another talented recruiting class to join our outstanding returning Sooner Lacrosse student-athletes as, together, we look to take the program to even greater heights! October 24-26 is Alumni Weekend for the Ole Miss football game. More details to come!

November 9th at Baylor University
Baylor and TCU game times TBD!

Happy first day of classes, and that means it’s time to introduce our 2025-2026 season executive board!

President Kyle Wolchok. Kyle is a Junior goalie from Columbus, NJ. He’s majoring in Sports Business getting a double minor in Marketing and Management Information Systems. This is his 2nd year on exec, previously serving as Vice President.

Vice President Shep Miers. Shep is a Junior midfielder from Tulsa, OK. He is majoring in Finance and getting a minor in Sports Business. This is his first year on exec.

Treasurer Mason Cincotta. Mason is a Junior defenseman from Garden City, NY. He is majoring in Aerospace Engineering and this is his second year serving as treasurer.

Secretary Max Westcott. Max is a Sophomore goalie from Longmeadow, MA. He is majoring in Finance and this is his first year on exec.

Community Relations Landon Szymanski. Landon is a Sophomore defenseman from Freehold Township, NJ. He is double majoring in Marketing and Finance and this is his first year on exec.

Over the past 2 days, 3 of our guys (Brady Wahl, Conner Stevens, and Mason Cincotta) spent time down in Ada, OK working with the youth of the Chickasaw Nation. It was an amazing experience to get out in the community and to help grow the sport in Oklahoma. Special thanks to Coach Mike Delloro and the Chickasaw Nation for having our guys out and giving them an opportunity to spread their knowledge of The Creator’s Game. Boomer!
