The shop will be open 10am to noon (yep, only a couple hours) this Friday. We will be closed through the weekend and reopen next Tuesday with regular hours.

Race season is here! That’s right, our Nebraska youth mountain bike race season, that is.

As head coach of our local team, that means I will be unavailable for regular weekend business hours until the beginning of November. At that time I will go back to being open on Saturdays. I know this isn’t convenient for a lot of you traveling from out of town and O apologize for that. If possible, I will try to work something out if you want to give the store a call or message me and see when I’m available.

As before, I’m closed on Mondays but I am available by appointment. Please call ahead of time, and we’ll line something up. Day of you can call or message and we’ll try to work something out if possible.

August heat adds a whole new layer of difficulty to big efforts, and hydration is the first thing that gets away from people. 💧

A good rule of thumb: drink at least one bottle per hour in hot conditions, more if you are climbing or pushing hard.

Electrolytes matter just as much as water. And if you feel thirsty, you are already behind. 😬
