Howdy Folks! Well it’s Sunday morning and ya know what that means , Sunday funday wash day. Oh and just in case yall don’t know yet, J-Rod parked the hot rod in VICTORY LANE!!!!!!!!!!!! It all started with yours truly drawing 41 through the gate which put us in heat 1 starting 3rd. Our goal was to qualify in a redraw and we met our goal. Even though we had a long wait as we were the final feature, got car ready for feature time. Then it’s redraw time for feature, wasn’t great but I pulled him 8th.
J-Rod went to work marching towards the front. Few minor cautions slowed the early laps, but when the green flew again, so did our Green. Picking cars off lap after lap it came down to the last lap, last corner, turn 4 drag race with the ol 607 coming home with the win!! We have worked hard over the last 2 years to get this car where we areJa k at now and a race win like last night makes it even better. Dustin got it done last night. Putting together great laps in a caution filled race and starting to open up some gaps he led wire to wire to bring home the win. J-rod had mechanical issues the crew chased all night but just couldn’t get it right. With that being said the two boys are going to join Alyssa tonight at thunder along with the crate in hopes to get the monkey off our backs and continue the speed we’ve started to show. Thank you to all supporters and especially the team for all the hard work they’ve been putting in.
