HAPPY FINAL RACEDAY OF THE 2026 SEASON! 🏁
I guess a HAPPY HALLOWEEN, too! 👻🍬

It's hard to believe, but we've officially made it to the LAST RACE NIGHT OF THE SEASON! Tonight, all our cars hit the track for one final time. But before the racing action begins, don't forget about the CANDY CRAWL from 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM!

Tonight kicks off the SECOND TO LAST RACEDAY OF THE 2026 SEASON!

These damn 600's, as ol HD would say, are taking on the final 40 lap race of the Hustle the Highway Series, with an overall purse of nearly $9,000!

Isn't that just CRAZY?!
The stakes are high, the temperatures are dropping, and we've got one SpOoKy weekend ahead of us!

Howdy folks! Well we knocked the cobwebs off the ol girl for 1 more rodeo this weekend. Loaded up and ready for Thunder Mountain Speedway Monster Bash. 2 chances to see ol J-Rod work the wheel for the ‘26 race season. Don’t worry ol HD, Doc Smashem and the rest of the crew will be there too. Also be sure to check out Race Day Customs as they will be making their first track appearance! Come join us for a chilly fall night up on the mountain as we bring 4 cars and one final weekend of racing to the track! Here’s what our crew has cooking up for two spooktacular nights!🏎️💨

🕸️ FRIDAY NIGHT 🕸️

J-ROD, DZ & special guest Jake Waibel will be wheeling the 600 Modified in the Hustle the Highway Series!
PLUS, J-ROD will be taking his hot-rod Sportsman out for a little shakedown, getting it ready to haunt the track on Saturday!

🎃 SATURDAY 🎃

J-ROD is pulling DOUBLE DUTY for the final race day of the season, wheeling both the 607 Sportsman and the 35 600 Modified!
DZ and Doc Smashem (FINALLY making a comeback! 🙌) will also be strapping in and hitting the track one last time this season!

🍬DON’T FORGET THE CANDY CRAWL! ⏰ 11:45 AM SATURDAY!🍬
We want to see ALL those little ghosts, goblins, witches, and ghouls dressed up and ready to gather up all the goodies the candy crawl has to offer! 👻🍭🍫

Howdy Folks! Back to back posts from ol HD?! Yup! Well after last saturdays double trip to victory lane, we woke up Sunday hungry. So where do we go to fuel our need for food? The Richford Diner is where! As one of our new sponsors this year, we do our part to sponsor them. So if you are on the neighbor hood and hungry, stop in and eat where winners eat! Howdy Folks! Married life week 1, honeymoon in victory lane x2. It was Mountain Madness night Thunder Mountain Speedway and we showed up with all 4 cars. Ol J-Rod drew 26 through the gate putting us 2nd row inside for heat in crate. After some early cautions, the ol 607 came home 2nd in the heat and a redraw spot. The ol boy did good and pulled #6 for the feature, 3rd row outside. Once the green flag dropped and stayed green, this Green went to work driving to the front and leading the way. The long green flag run had us at a sizable lead with 3 to go. With 3 to go the rest of the gang tried to, but could not get past the Richford Rocket and he parked in victory lane for win #5 of the year.

Now the damn 600’s. J-Rod pulled double duty in the 35, DZ in the 95x and special guest driver JW in Doc Smashem’s ride as she was under the weather. So all of the following is what I was told by J-Rod. He won his heat, finished 2nd in the dash and started outside pole for feature. DZ finished his heat in 3rd and started 12th in feature. And finally ol JW finished 4th in heat and started 19th for feature. The boys had 39 laps to get things sorted out. J-Rod took the lead early and once again never looked back to park the 35 in victory lane. DZ wheeled from 12 starting spot to bring home 4th and JW started 19th and was up to eighth til a tussle with traffic had him doing some evasive measures and ended up 12th. At the end of the night it was a good night of racing for the G&W team and the entire crew. Thanks to Doc Smashem for her post and shouting out all of our Great sponsors that support us.
