An Anusara Yoga and Meditation Retreat
August 27–31, 2026

With much excitement, Rudrani and Jacalyn invite you to join us for another wonderful summer retreat at Dai Bosatsu Zendo, a pristine mountain sanctuary in the Catskill Mountains.
Only 5 spaces left!

The Retreat Program includes:

☀️ Daily Morning Meditation
Set the deep foundations of an authentic meditation practice, opening to transformation both within oneself and as a group. There will be guidance for those new to the practice

☀️Morning Asana Class
Morning Anusara asana class includes postures, breathing practices, deep relaxation and meditation: Level 1 supports clarity of asana alignment and Anusara fundamentals / Open Level supports advancing frontiers of your current practice

☀️Afternoon Asana Class
Afternoon restorative yoga class includes therapeutics, an elongated deep relaxation, and meditation

☀️ Evening Satsang
Group sharing, Q&A and exploration of our inner experiences woven into the wisdom teachings of the Yoga tradition

☀️ Meals
Three delicious, vegetarian meals made with ingredients from the Zendo’s gardens as well as local organic farms

☀️ Afternoon Free Time
Ample time to swim in the pristine spring-fed Beecher Lake, hike, nap, read, sunbathe and journal

☀️ Body work
Gifted body workers are available for sessions during free time

It’s time to wrap up our Spring campaign!

We are writing to invite your participation and to thank everyone who has participated so far.

Our new non-profit status is a vibrant expression of our true purpose which is to introduce and sustain both newcomers and experienced practitioners on the deeply transformational journey of Yoga.

As a community, you have created over fifty four years of steady practice, supporting both the school’s evolution and one another. You have meditated together, uplifted all of us with your yogic spirit when you come to class, and joined our fundraising events – gatherings of love, commitment, and financial support.

This fine spring, we invite you to consider a gift toward our Spring fundraising campaign.

Thank you for taking part in sustaining what has always made the school strong: the hidden presence one cannot see that lies at the very heart of our practices and lies at the very heart of Yoga. This is the Grace Principle which flows through all of us, our beloved community, and brings revelatory transformation. It pours into our lives and sustains us all in shared endeavor.

Join us tonight for our 54th anniversary!

As a school of inner evolution, we exist to uphold the authentic teachings of Yoga, where community becomes a vessel for collective awakening.
Through decades of social, economic, and global change, one truth has remained constant: the heart of Yoga itself.

After our chant and meditation, we will take time for intention setting and enjoy a dinner together, refreshments and delicious goodies! Bring your vision for the future of the WYC that would most fulfill your heart as we continue to move into our second half century!
